Bethany and Jake: Wedding

Bethany and Jake were simply a pleasure to work with.  And their families equally wonderful.  Rarely have I felt so welcome and appreciated at a wedding.  So many people said thank you…well right back at all of you.  There were tornado warnings, 40 mph flat winds, and sheets of rain falling all day long.  Needless to say, we did every last shot inside.  But perhaps it’s a blessing in disguise.  Being forced to get outside your standard box can be helpful.  Here ’s a taste of what we came away with.

 

The wedding party.  One of the guys in this photo is a big Nikon shooter.  He called my camera a ‘toy,’ I believe it was termed.  :-)  Bethany’s father is also a big Nikon shooter…must be a family thing.  Anyway, I’m selling my 1D mk III Brad, so email when you’re ready to use a real camera.

When you’re taking ‘traditional/formal’ pics of the new married couple with the parents and they start to do this, just go ahead and take the pic.
