Bethany and Jake were simply a pleasure to work with. Â And their families equally wonderful. Â Rarely have I felt so welcome and appreciated at a wedding. Â So many people said thank you…well right back at all of you. Â There were tornado warnings, 40 mph flat winds, and sheets of rain falling all day long. Â Needless to say, we did every last shot inside. Â But perhaps it’s a blessing in disguise. Â Being forced to get outside your standard box can be helpful. Â Here ’s a taste of what we came away with.

The wedding party. Â One of the guys in this photo is a big Nikon shooter. Â He called my camera a ‘toy,’ I believe it was termed. Â :-) Â Bethany’s father is also a big Nikon shooter…must be a family thing. Â Anyway, I’m selling my 1D mk III Brad, so email when you’re ready to use a real camera.

When you’re taking ‘traditional/formal’ pics of the new married couple with the parents and they start to do this, just go ahead and take the pic.

Another example of a couple strobes with a touch of post processing. Â

Lastly, a pic during the first dance. Â Good moment.
